This paper discusses the relationship between values in the late eighties and today. I will briefly discuss the four soldierly values, found in Field Manual 22-600-20. These values were the corner stone of the US Army in the late eighties. After reading this paper, you will be able to conclude what is necessary for the Army to keep changing its values over the years.
