The Army has a policy in the use of Class I subsistence that clearly spells out its use in Army doctrine. I hope to share my experience and in my 20 years of dealing with the use of Class I subsistence. Commanders and Senior Leaders at every level should make every effort to comply with regulatory guidance provided in Army doctrine as it relates to the use of Class I subsistence.
