Thesis Statement: America can win the Global War on Terrorism without the support of the International Community. Discussion: America has the political power, military superiority, economic resources, and information technology to win the war on terrorism. Political leaders continuously propose and develop initiatives to advance US national security interests. The US military maintains its superiority over terrorist organizations through its force integration, advanced combat systems, and command control. America's economy provides economic resources to win the war on terror and helps to establish democracy and international security. America leads the world in gathering and analyzing information to capture, kill, and destroy terrorist. Conclusion: Terrorists who kill innocent people will continue to do so until stopped. The International Community believes that they do not have an invested interest in stopping these terrorist organizations. Therefore, they hope by ignoring them, they will just go away. America will not stand by and watch these cowardly killings. America will win the Global War on Terrorism at any cost. Counterpoint: America will never be able to contain Terrorist as long as they are willing to die for their beliefs. America alone does not have the resources to sustain the war against terrorism militarily, economically, or through its information. The International Community no longer accepts America's political leaders and government policies. Therefore, America cannot win the Global War on Terrorism without the support of the International Community.
