This paper describes some of the key events and lessons learned during my deployment to Baghdad, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) III. I give significant discussion to: EOD security operations, patrol operations, and traffic control operations. Also included is a portion of a letter from our Battalion Commander to the Rear Detachment at Ft. Stewart, GA.
