The scope of my search into the history of the Noncommissioned Officer of the United States Army focuses on the evolutions of the duties, the rank structure and insignias, and the weapons and tactics of the American soldier. The determination of the American soldier to win his Nation's wars - foreign and domestic - rooted in his discipline and the professionalism of his leaders.
