Throughout the United States' military history, lessons learned led to the current successful operations in Iraq and Afghanistan called Full-Spectrum Operations. America's will for fighting wars abroad lasts until military victory prevails but falters during reconstruction efforts. During the Civil and Indian Wars, lessons learned provided the foundation for Full-Spectrum Operations.
