The United States during the Philippines and Somalia War conducted many actions in order to win the War. Many of these actions resulted in failure and many U.S. Soldiers were killed because of their lack of planning, not considering the advantages and disadvantages of each action, underestimating the depth of the rebellion, the lack of the discipline between the Filipino-American relations due to the language and cultural barrier, lack of coordination with other UN Forces, the guerilla use of violence and terror on the civilians, and the wrong evacuation of the captured men with wheeled convoy. The United States in the fight against insurgencies during the Global War of terrorism should not fight without considering these mistakes as lessons learned. It is not acceptable for the U.S. to lose Soldiers in order to help other countries bring their peace and stability.
