In our lives, we come across situations on a daily basis that forces us to make choices. The choices we make, whether right, wrong good or bad has a positive or negative impact on our careers, units, our country, and sometimes our families. Ethics are the ground rules derived from our values, which guide us to living a certain way of life. When presented with situations that require us to make choices, our ethical thought process should influence the decision we choose to make. Today, Soldiers are making life-changing decisions with no regards to ethics or ethics training. This paper shares my thoughts about Soldiers, ethics, and making the wrong choices.
