The issue of inappropriate relationships in the Army can have a devastating effect on the morale of units if left unchecked. When senior leaders breaks the trust their Soldiers place in them it rattles very the fabric of the organization. The Army is an institution whose main pillars and foundation are set on strong moral and ethical values. However within recent times these foundation pillars are being eroded by acts of immoral, unethical, and inappropriate behavior by some Soldiers, especially those who hold senior ranks and positions of power.
