The ethical problem that I will talk about has been an issue in Estonian Defense Forces since I was a conscript in 1993. This paper is about double standards; difference of equipment which was available for soldiers and their superiors. When I joined with army again in 1996 as professional soldier, this subject had even bigger negative effect. The examples about unethical issues I will bring out did not exist necessarily in every unit and not every leader in Estonian Army used his position in order to have more comforts than his soldiers had.
