The Army can take its toll on a marriage and in over 50% of the marriages end in divorce. This brings up one of the most ethical question that a divorced Soldier with kids has to ask him or herself. "Am I being a good Father or Mother?" This is broken down in to two area, child support and keeping in contact with their children. I think that both are ethical dilemmas faced by are Soldiers today. I will cover these two areas together because in most cases they are woven together. The first area is child support. The ethical question here is why don't soldiers pay their child support? Why don't they want make the ethically right choice to take care of their children? With the high divorce of soldiers in the Army today these two questions are a major problem not only in the Army but also in the United State.
