The evolution of warfare continues to increase the ethical demands placed on the modern professional soldier. Training Soldiers and leaders on the importance of ethics on the battlefield and the relevance of cultural awareness in combat should be a continual process to ensure mission success. Without ethical and cultural awareness, training mission accomplishment will be hindered because we will create more enemies than allies among the non-combatants. Training will allow Soldiers and leaders to interact with the local civilians and foster a desire for reconstruction.
