As a nation actively involved in the Global War on Terrorism, some of the dilemmas we face include; growing a force at a rapid pace, increased deployment time, or increasing the size of the Civilian work force on the battlefield. The process of growing the force and increased deployment time, takes time and is very strenuous on Soldiers and families. Expansion of the Competitive Sourcing Program can help alleviate growing a force to soon and increased deployment time. This would be a major benefit to Combatant Commander's and Soldiers.
