Contractors on the battlefield have become an unavoidable solution. Since the earliest recorded military history, civilians played a crucial role on the battlefield. The United States military has become dependent on contractors in logistical support and other mundane tasks as providing for area life support. However, contractors are also jointly operating high tech defense systems next to Soldiers. The intent of this research is to provide rationale and justification to increase the number of contractors on the battlefield to meet the increasing operational tempo of the military.
