Abstract: My paper will focus on the need for troop reduction to increase military and family readiness in our armed forces. I will discuss the current psychological issues (PTSD) that our Warriors are facing and the emotional strain on our military families and children. I will also confer on the increased cost of post war care that required by our wounded Warriors. This will all support my findings on why we need to pull our troops out of Iraq.
