The United States Army Special Forces are silent warriors that can, and often do, go behind enemy lines and operate autonomously to achieve a specified goal of the United States. They prepare through masterful training, to handle just about anything needed to accomplish their mission with a small team of Soldiers. The Soldiers of the teams all have specific skills necessary to handle a multitude of situations that they may encounter. As Special Forces teams often find themselves in situations where there are no support systems, they are prepared to operate without support from any higher authority. Some ongoing missions of the US Special Forces often cross over into the areas of conventional forces and vice versa.
