This paper discusses the magnitude of war on Iraq's economy and the stabilization efforts through continued peace keeping tactics. A look into the nation itself takes place, both prior to and during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Democracy is the objective in Iraq and there are unique steps to arriving at this goal. Iraqi forces play a colossal part in the final outcome, or the anticipated result the United States envisions for this country. The Bush Administration has stood behind its decisions over the past four years and continues to defend the rationale behind the invasion of Iraq. There is a broad spectrum of people who are affected by efforts in Iraq and this paper analyzes some of these. Building a government for a country is a time consuming task. However, a positive future for all in Iraq and those that depend on its resources will be created when the goal is met.
