The purpose of this paper is to discuss how confident Soldiers continue to reenlist. Soldiers that have confidence in themselves, their leader, and the Army continue to reenlist for continued service and this has made an incredible impact on the Army Retention Program. Confident Soldiers reenlist in both the Regular Army and in the Army Reserves. Soldiers reenlist when they can trust their leaders and equipment. Soldiers reenlist when they are confident that they are fighting for what is right, just as we saw on September 11, 2001. Confident leaders and Soldiers reenlist and make our force even stronger which leads to success in retention.
