This research paper will answer the statement; "How the American soldier fought during Vietnam in inclement weather on the battle field. It will summarize the American soldier mobility, survivability, and morale, in a jungle environment. Although the outcome of a combat operation in not solely dependent upon the elements of terrain and weather, however it heavily influence the outcome and success of operations. This paper examines the reason why we should not have gone to war and the consequences that caused thousands of soldier lives.
