The United States Army National Guard force is technically the first responder tin most domestic situations and emergencies here in our homeland. Whether it is a Natural Disaster, Riot Control or guarding our borders, they are here ready to serve the people of the United States. They are also deployed to more than 87 countries today. This brief will explain how thinly spread the United Stated Army National Guard is and why we need Congress to redirect its focus to Homeland Security. Protecting our own is a major concern for many Americans. The United States is always policing up other countries and nations. The current administration should focus its efforts on what is going on right here in the United States of America. The driving force in our newly discovered homeland Security efforts is the United States Army National Guard.
