The transformation of Army Public Affairs has improved its efficiency in the operational environment. The evolution of Army Public Affairs since World War One has been dramatic. Due to transformation, the Army is manning Brigade Combat Teams with Public Affairs sections, which ensures Public Affairs professionals are assigned at the lowest level. Public Affairs doctrine has also adapted to the changes in Army structure, incorporating lessons learned from Iraq and Afghanistan and becoming more joint in nature. Technological improvements have expedited the release of Public Affairs products, making sure the internal and external audiences stay informed.
