Training, teaching, and instilling ethics into our soldiers today can be a very hard task. Soldiers are sometimes exposed to environments in the civilian sector and even in the military where unethical behavior is done and accepted. Stealing, cheating, lying and doing others things for one's personal gain are common and in some cases held in high regard in the civilian population. Although some of these things are done in our ranks they are not acceptable and totally violate or go against our Army Values. The question is are we doing a good job of training and developing soldiers to execute their duties and responsibilities ethically, even though they are sometimes surrounded by unethical behavior?
