This paper discusses transformation in the US Military, particularly the US Army. I talk about some of the things that are causing the Army to change, what those changes are, and the challenges associated with attempting to change. I point out the two sides of the Army, which are Institutional and Operational, the changes unique to both and how they affect each other. Lastly, I give some personal observations on the negative affect transformation has had on the Field Artillery.
