Army Ethics keep military members working on one accord and focus on the Army mission. Personal Courage is facing fear, danger, or adversity both physical and moral. Personal courage is not the absence of fear, it is the ability to put fear aside and do what is necessary. Physical courage is the mean to overcome fear of bodily harm and doing your duty. Moral courage is simply living the Army values of integrity and honor every day. The bottom line is military professionals are held to a higher ethical standard.
