History has proven to be an indicator of future conflicts and peace. By looking into the Army's past we can better prepare our Soldiers, using past events to train, sustain and maintain. As with any profession the study of techniques and skills are only a part of the learning process. The study of the events of the past establishes the bedrock of knowledge that all other training builds on and ultimately shapes the professional warriors decision making process.
