This regulation prescribes policies and procedures to control check-cashing privileges and prevent their abuse and to reduce losses to appropriated fund (AF) and nonappropriated fund (NAF) activities. Policies and procedures for all suspensions of check-cashing privileges and appeal actions on such suspensions, regardless of where the dishonored check was returned on the installation, are prescribed by this regulation.
