While the title indicates that the subject of this study is the "Operations of the Second Bulgarian Army in 1915", the purpose may be expressed more clearly as an investigation of the operations of a semi-independent military force approximating in strength a war-time United States Corps. A summary of the general situation, general military intelligence, World War events leading to Bulgarian mobilization, concentration of the Second Bulgarian Army, mission/terrain/enemy forces, advance of the Second Army, the second phase of the operations, a new mission for the Second Army, and a short critique are given.
