This study seeks to improve the current Ranger Acquisitions System by adapting and adopting the best practices from the National Collegiate Athletic Association recruiting systems. Using the applied professional case study research methodology, this study identifies that doctrinal, organization, and leader/educational changes necessary to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the 75th Ranger Regiment recruiting to produce a higher Ranger Assessment and Selection Program I graduation rate. This study identifies the predictors of success for Musculoskeletal and mental resiliency, how to incorporate them into a holistic candidate evaluation, and the current system's capability gaps. The changes will create a new multifunctional team that uses developed data scraping software and additional anxiety testing to actively recruit soldiers who display traits that are similar to successful skill-level one Rangers. This will replace the current system that relies on voluntary information briefs and passively accepting applications.
