The objective of this report is to set forth in concise form a study of current Soviet armored organization and tactics. This study is intended to be used as a guide by small unit commanders and staff officers in furthering their professional knowledge concerning a potential adversary. The subjects as they appear in the report are: organization and general concepts of employment, the offense, the defense, special operations, and conclusions and recommendations.
