This handbook is the principal organizational directive of the Naval Advisory Group. The principal objectives of this Handbook are: to present the organizational structure of the U.S. Naval Advisory Group, including the VNN Logistic Support Command Advisory staff; to delineate functions, responsibilities, limits of authority, and command relationships of the various advisory units; to set forth pertinent regulations essential to successful performance and conduct of naval advisors; to provide for submission of certain reports, information and data required by higher authority or designed for proper control and coordination of advisory assistance and personnel administration; and to promulgate instructions and guidance for development of mutually frank and unobtrusive advisor - counterpart relationships.
