United Nations Command, Korea; Caption: The United Nations Civil Assistance Command in Korea (UNCACK) is an operating agency of the Eighth United States Army designed to prevent starvation, disease and unrest among the civilian population of Korea and to assist in the economic rehabilitation of tributions of both supplies and money from the United States, and other United Nations members and relief organizations. These crop surveyors from UNCACK and DAC are inspecting a rice crop just outside Taegu in connection with a crop survey to determine drought damage.
