Report is a joint effort of the US Army Operations Research Office, the John Hopkins University and the Army Operational Research Group, UK. The report is in two volumes. Volume I contains all sections of the report except for Appendix K. Volume II contains Appendix K. The body of the report is concerned with armor activity during the period 1 July 1950 to 21 January 1951. It evaluates the employment of armor in Korea and draws conclusion/makes recommendations for logistic actions to improve the effectiveness of armor. Looks at the terrain and roadnet of Korea and how it precluded the employment of tanks in the manner in which they were used in western Europe and North Africa. Light M24 tanks were the only armor available for commitment to combat at the outbreak of the campaign with medium tanks sent as reinforcements. Some pages blurred; original unavailable for redigitisation. Digitized by the Military History Institute.
