Type 56 AK47 Rifle that is gas operated, selective fire, magazine fed and shoulder fired. It has a wood buttstock with a metal butt plate and trap, a wood pistol grip, forearm and handguard. It has a protected post, tangent leaf rear sight. A sling ring is attached to barrel and a wire ring is on the right side of the receiver. The web and leather sling are secured to the barrel ring by a strip of cloth. The cleaning rod is secured below the barrel.
