Caliber .30 magazine, staggered box type in receiver, capacity five cartridges. Grasping grooves in stock, machined trigger guard, serrated trigger. Barrel length is 24". Rifle used by General Barth to win Sharpshooters Award when he was a lieutenant. 1909 version of the Model 1903. Rebarreled in 1918.
