Shortly after assumption of command, 9 July 1956, I instituted a study of the overall functioning of the College. As a result a completely revised and rewritten curriculum for the 1957-58 Course, placing greater emphasis on developing student reasoning and problem-solving ability, will reflect corrective action on approximately 75 percent of the Commission's recommendations. - Lionel C.
