The Book Department maintains a subscription mailing list for school publications available to any officer in the naval or military service, who desire to keep in touch with the work of The Army Service Schools. Subscribers receive certain map problems, solutions, lectures, and other interesting matter from time to time, as well as lists of text and reference books used at the schools in the several courses of instruction. This document contains information on textbooks, reference books, etc. that were in use at the Army Service Schools, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas (Army School of the Line, Army Staff College, Army Signal School, Army Field Engineer School).
