The brigade participated in over 25 battles over the skies of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. In every endeavor and combat action, the soldiers of the Brigade performed magnificently, displaying unparalleled gallantry, determination, and esprit de corps while greatly exceeding every expectation of them in combat. The extraordinary heroism and overwhelming skill of the Brigade's Patriot units in engaging and defeating repeated SCUD ballistic missile attacks captured the attention and admiration of the entire world. They played a pivotal role in the overall success of allied efforts during Operation Desert Storm.
