"The purpose of this project was to bring awareness to a problem that has developed over the course of long-term military operations and find the answer to the unresolved question of what can be done for Army chaplains ministering in theater in order for them to not become mental and emotional casualties of war. This project examined resiliency within biblical, historical and theological contexts as well as reviewed related dissertations, studies, and programs that have committed their resources to restoring military chaplains after deployment. An online survey was developed to explore all the areas of this research project concerning chaplains in a deployed status."--Abstract
