This summary of the V Corps experience in conducting Exercise Mountain Eagle VI has been drawn from a series of interviews the Corps Historian conducted with staff principals involved in the design, planning, and Execution of the exercise. While this document includes the all of the essential points made during those interviews, additional materials retained in the Corps History office are also available for planners. These include the full, unedited videotape interviews (approximately fourteen hours); records of the Mountain Shield exercises; and a full AAR prepared by the Corps Chemical Officer, focusing on the simulation of headquarters superior to the unit being trained.
