This short monograph details how a team of Army historians researched various archives, secondary literature and cetera to determine if the armed forces had overlooked World War II recommendations for certain Asian-Americans to receive various awards, including the Congressional Medal of Honor and Distinguished Service Cross. These included both Filipinos who had fought for the United States in World War II (when the Philippines remained a US possession) and Japanese-Americans.
