This bibliography revises and updates "A Select Bibliography of the United States Navy and the Southeast Asian Conflict, 1950-1975", which was published in 1983. The greater number of titles cited in the new edition reflects the outpouring of books and articles on the Vietnam War since 1983. In addition, because of the growing attention to the role of women in war, the current edition of the bibliography presents a new subject category entitled Navy women.
