Al-Falluja, city of Mosques, is a key commercial center on the highway linking Baghdad and the Jordanian border. Unimportant during the invasion of Iraq, by the fall of 2003 military strategists consider it the center of the Sunni Arab insurgency. Resistance to US forces is rising, and in January, 2004, the members of Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, occupy an abandoned airbase known locally as "Dreamland" to patrol the city. Their mission: to maintain order and suppress resistance. This film goes in depth with Alpha Company's 2nd Platoon during their participation in the Battle of Fallujah.
