"This Symposium presents a comprehensive overview of the field of stress and psychological support on operations. The importance of the different responsibilities of commanders and mental health professionals are discussed, as are key areas for future research. Finally, some conclusions are drawn from the Symposium concerning how military mental health professionals can best support commanders and the importance of continued collaborative research is highlighted."
