After their parents marry, the Fisher kids must find a place within the family for Rebekah, who is not at all used to such chaos and having grown up with a father who was ill most of her life, a mother who spent her days taking care of a sick husband and grandparents who doted on her to the point where she felt more like their daughter than their grand-daughter. Now she must find her place in the loud, rambunctious, sometimes nosy Fisher family and the community of Windy Gap.
