A register of [Gold Star] mothers and widows who made the pilgrimage, relationship to the deceased veteran, cemetery visited, date of sailing from New York and date of return thereto, and name of the vessels upon which each made the journey. Cemeteries visited included Aisne-Marne, Brookwood, Flanders Field, Meuse-Argonne, Oise-Aisne, St. Mihiel, Somme, and Suresnes. Vessels used included the America, American Merchant, Republic, George Washington, President Harding, and President Roosevelt.
