A Rape of Justice describes the tragic but true story of six African-American soldiers who were hanged for an alleged gang rape of two white U.S. Army nurses in New Guinea during the latter part of World War II. The author, Walter A. Luszki, constructed the New Guinea Detention and Rehabilitation Center at Oro Bay where, on orders from General Douglas MacArthur, the six men were executed on October 2, 1944.
