The object of this document is to indicate briefly the chief characteristics of Japanese behavior in the field as they differ from our own and that of western nations. Descriptions of Japanese tactics is based on observation of actual practice and real examples rather than on rules in Japanese handbooks, with accompanying figures and illustrations.
