A translation of top-level directives issued by Hitler and by the Armed Forces High Command (OKW) from 1939-1945. Also includes some top-level naval directions (OKM), showing the Navy's reaction. Some early directives are not included because they were not available. Other later directives are not included because of their volume, a result of Hitler's increasing take-over of direct command in the field.
