27 hour course builds on the material presented in C310 and C320. The doctrine, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) presented can also be applied at division and maneuver brigade levels. During the course, students acting as members of the corps staff, will apply the targeting process; the use of deep fires, both lethal and non-lethel; the use of theater air (close air support CAS), air interdiction (AI), electronic combat (EC), and surveillance and reconnaisance (S & R); the close support, counterfire, and interdiction missions of corps artillery, and the use of smart weapons and special munitions. You will discuss joint fire planning concepts and doctrine, such as joint precision strike (JPS) and the joint supression of enemy air defense (J-SEAD). During the final practical exercise you will develop a concept of fire support, a fire support annex, and selected targeting products to support a corps tactical plan.
