60 hour course designed to prepare oficers to function as plans and operations officers at corps and division levels. It capitolizes on previous CGSOC instruction and combines small group lectures, discussions and practical exercises to analyze doctrinal concepts and apply them to develop a written corps operations plan. The course stresses corps level command and control processes, deception, large unit movements, passage of lines, counter obstacle planning, and deep and rearoperations in a joint and combined environment. Students are evaluated by examination, quality of written operations plans and operation plan briefings.
